I opened my own law practice on July 9, 2007. I left the law firm of Roy, Larsen, Romm & Lascara, P.C., where I started my legal career and had been with since 1986. I felt it was time to "fly solo" and have a practice that is an expression of who I am and what I am about.
I moved into a 2,000 square foot office condominium at the Battlefield Commons in the Battlefield Commerce Center. The location is behind the Home Depot at the corner of North Battlefield Boulevard and Volvo Parkway. You take the first right off Volvo Parkway after the Home Depot onto Independence Parkway and go down one half mile with the Battlefield Commons buildings being on the right. I continue to practice in the same areas of real estate, both residential and commercial, contracts, corporate and business law, wills, trusts and estates and elder law. The transition was very smooth, and I am blessed with a very supportive staff. Another lawyer, James Short , who also was with my old firm, will be starting his new practice and he will be leasing space in my office. Jim's areas of practice are a great compliment to mine. He practices in areas of: "family law, civil litigation, traffic, dui, criminal, child custody, divorce, social security disability and guardianship.
